S.4 and S.5 Physics Students Shine in “Hong Kong Secondary Student Space Station Popular Science Payload and Science Experiment Design Challenge”

Students in S.4 and S.5 studying Physics have won multiple awards in the "Hong Kong Secondary Student Space Station Popular Science Payload and Science Experiment Design Challenge." The competition was jointly organized by the Education Bureau, the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Participating teams were required to design scientific experiment proposals suitable for conducting in space environments or microgravity conditions. Among them, the proposal submitted by 5A CHAN Kam-wu, 5D CHAN Tsz-chun and 5D PENG Wen-hao won the Special Gold Award, giving them the opportunity to study relevant courses in Beijing, and their work may also be brought to the space station for testing. The award ceremony was held on September 21, 2025 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
